The mountain is easily accessible from four main towns: Lionshead, Vail Village, Golden Peak and Cascade, which means that practically the whole town is easily accessible input and output directly on skis.

Vail Village and Lionshead are the liveliest towns and also the most popular central access points to the mountain. The people of Golden Peak and Cascade also offer access to the mountain but provide a quieter vacation experience that also allows easy and convenient to the towns of Vail and Lionshead access.
